Michael A. Mondiello, CPA, is a Managing Director for the Financial District office of Alliance Global Partners, a New York-based firm established in 1980. He also serves in the dual role of Senior Wealth Management Advisor and Syndicate Relations for Alliance Global Partners. With over 28 years of experience assisting generations of families in preserving and optimizing their wealth, Michael’s philosophy has always remained client-centric. In serving high-net-worth individuals (including CPAs, attorneys, corporate executives, medical professionals, and entrepreneurs), he employs a customized approach to wealth planning that carefully considers each client’s objectives, needs, and goals.
Michael began his financial career as a CPA with PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly Coopers and Lybrand) specializing in the complexities of corporate structures and personal tax analysis. This experience has provided him with unique insight into broader tax-based analyses which he successfully utilizes on behalf of high-net-worth investors who require highly personalized and complex financial planning and wealth management services.
In addition to the personal aptitude Michael brings to his advisory practice, he employs the expertise of a team of highly knowledgeable and experienced portfolio managers and investment consultants through City National Rochdale, a third-party manager, many of whom hold designations as CFAs (Chartered Financial Analysts), one of the most difficult and prestigious designations in the wealth management industry. This collective team designs investment portfolios specifically tailored to suit clients’ constantly evolving needs. This multi-faceted approach encompasses extensive research and analysis coupled with consistent communication which brings added value and peace of mind to his clients knowing that their long-term goals are the priority.
Michael and his wife of twenty-five years, Jodi, reside in Manhasset, New York. They are the proud parents of three children – Caroline, Michael, Jr., and William. Caroline attends Stanford University, while Michael, Jr., and William both attend their community public schools. A civic-minded community member, Michael supports many local philanthropic organizations. He is currently serving in his seventh year on the Board of the North Shore Child and Family Guidance Center, a not-for-profit children’s mental health organization, where he has most recently served in the capacity of Treasurer. He and Jodi are avid supporters of local educational organizations, such as The Tower Foundation of Manhasset and The Manhasset School Community Association. Michael has also served as President of Strathmore Vanderbilt Country Club and remains active in club affairs today.
