Realistic goals provide the foundation for a solid financial plan. That is why it is important to codify your own. They can include educators for children, a second home, your income needs in retirement, your philanthropic interests, and plans for your estate. Because no two people are the same, building a financial plan around your specific goals creates a plan that is uniquely yours. We will work closely with you to identify and define your near- and long-term goals, check for goals that may conflict, and work to resolve conflicts that arise.
Finally, we believe a financial plan should be as flexible as the life it represents. That is why we review your plan’s progress relative to your defined objectives. When it comes to your financial future, the most important factor is your age. Your goal should be to begin building up enough assets to provide adequate income to meet your needs throughout retirement – accounting for factors like increased longevity, healthcare costs, and inflation. To accomplish this goal, you need a plan. That’s where we can help.
Life has a way of throwing curveballs. As you approach the end of your career, you may have questions about what comes next or if you’re ready financially and emotionally. Together, we uncover the answers, identify and address any concerns you may have, and update your investment plan to reflect your revised needs.
We start by identifying your short- and long-term goals. When do you want to retire? Where would you like to live? How will you spend your time? Then, we estimate income and expenses for the life you’re envisioning, taking into account the unexpected and other obligations so you will be best prepared.
Planning doesn’t stop when your paychecks do. The process is continuous all the way through retirement. With the right plan, we bring your vision into sharp focus, so you can enjoy the lifestyle you worked so hard to achieve. We identify sources of income and expenses to create and adhere to a tax-efficient withdrawal strategy.
Your needs and wants will change during this time. We reevaluate your plan so you can maintain a clear picture of the kind of lifestyle you desire, reassessing your short- and long-term goals, along with your risk tolerance in retirement.
Your portfolio should work for you in propelling both your short- and long-term goals and preserving the wealth you’ve worked diligently to grow. Fixed income investments can be a valuable component of your financial plan and can support your aspirations with a reliable stream of income.
With a deep understanding of fixed income investments, we can help you integrate these core investments into your custom financial plan using a process that is defined, focused, and disciplined – the characteristics needed to help preserve your hard-earned wealth while striving to provide predictable cash flow now and in the future.
Long-term investors can reap the benefits of holding fixed income investments to maturity, a strategy that helps to provide reliable, steady interest payments to fortify your income stream while also preserving principal. We have access to a broad array of investments, including some that are tax-exempt and/or especially tax-efficient when it comes to providing yield and predictable cash flow to support your desired lifestyle. Our team is well-versed in matching your specific goals and risk tolerance with investments that best align with your needs.
Our experienced team is knowledgeable about both the risks and rewards inherent in fixed income products, as well as the variety of both tax-exempt and taxable investments available. We seek out high-quality investments and manage them in a way designed to safeguard your hard-earned wealth from erosion due to inflation or taxation. Investors who take the long view and hold high-quality bonds to maturity can generally expect a full return of their principal, as well as the stated yield.
Fixed income is a valuable tool for establishing a solid foundation for your portfolio by providing diversification to help smooth out pockets of volatility as various asset classes rotate in and out of favor. We select individual fixed income investments that work seamlessly with the rest of your portfolio to deliver the return that correlates with your risk tolerence.
Your life and financial circumstances are unique, and so are your needs for your wealth management plan and portfolio. Your bond allocation depends on many factors – including your time horizon, risk tolerance, need for income, and future goals – so we narrow the investment universe to choices that offer you a combination of income and stability. We leverage our extensive resources and utilize rigorous analysis and due diligence to structure a portfolio that specifically suits your objectives.

You’ve spent a lifetime building a legacy. Let our prudent approach help you make the most of it.
Supporting a child’s education can be one of the most rewarding aspects of success and one of the most important elements in your financial plan. With rising inflation and the high cost of education, planning to contribute to another’s higher education may require an early start.
There are a variety of investment vehicles and tax-efficient options to contribute to the cost of higher education. As your trusted partner, our knowledge and professional guidance can help you analyze the tax benefits, ownership structure, risk, and contribution limits involved – even what to do with your leftover education funds if your aspiring academic earns a scholarship.
When you invest in potential, you’ll do more than help make the dream of education possible for a student in your life. You could provide the inspiration for a legacy of higher learning that’s passed on for generations to come. What’s more, the funds you contribute have the ability to grow tax-deferred and eventually be withdrawn, tax-free.
Working together, we choose the investment strategy that is right for you and your student, keeping in mind that generous contribution limits do exist, regardless of income level.
Although UGMA and UTMA accounts are not designed specifically for college savings, they offer advantages including multiple investment options, limited tax benefits, and the ability for a parent to transfer assets to a child without needing to establish a more costly trust. However, contributions to the accounts are irrevocable and parents lose control of the funds when the child becomes 18 – 21 – an age that may vary by state. We help you navigate these considerations, providing solutions tailored to your funding needs.
